WIHC Board of Directors Elections for the
2008/2009 season..
Greetings fellow Warrior
Ice Hockey Club members.
We have reached that time
of the year when we select the new Board for the upcoming 2008 –
2009 Season.
This Board will serve from June 1st, 2008 through May 31st,
2009. We do have another change in the nominees as Dan Richardson has requested he be removed from consideration. This leaves us with 4 of the 5 offices
unopposed. Our Board election meeting will take place on Monday 4/28/08 starting promptly @ 7:15 PM. Mr. John Leslie has secured for us the
use of the meeting room in his office building located on the south side service road of I20 between Bowen Road and Cooper Street. If you will park in the West parking
lot and enter from the front of the building, the room will be to your
right on the ground floor,
2310 Interstate 20 West, at Heritage Rock, Arlington, Texas 76017.
Your attendance is not required, but encouraged.
In accordance with our Bylaws you may vote by proxy by any of the following methods.
First you will need to
download the
ballot. This is our official Proxy Ballot. It should open as a Word Document.

You can mark your choices directly on this ballot, complete the
required blanks, and resend it as a new attachment to Myra
Harrison, our current secretary & keeper of pieces of club
papers.

Your second choice is to print off the ballot, complete the
required information, mark your selections and fax it to me @
817-275-6771.

Your third choice is to once again print the ballot, complete
the required information, mark your selections and hand deliver
it to any current Board member.
Should you decide to vote by proxy please be aware it must be in a Board members possession no latter than 3:00 PM on Monday the 28th in order for us to have it for the election.
Each family has 2 votes per player.
For those of you with two players, you are entitled to 4
votes thus you will need to complete 2 of the proxy ballots.
Those members who choose to attend the Board
Election Meeting; we will have Ballots available for you.
We will collect the ballots, combine their totals with the
proxy ballots and determine our new Board for the 2008 - 2009
Season.
Please
note that if you choose not to vote, then it will be considered a
yes vote for the unopposed offices.
The one office which has two candidates to consider, the
winner will be determined by the members who actually cast a ballot.
Any of your current Board will be happy to
attempt to answer any questions you might have regarding the
election process.
