Overview
I have been involved in hockey both roller and ice for 14
years. I played roller for 10 years and ice for 4 years. I also ref’d
roller for 4 years. Giving back to hockey and kids that play is my
passion. I coach to make a difference in the lives of young kids and
try to point them in the right direction by keeping a positive attitude
on and off the ice.

All four seminars made me look at the game and understand
the critical areas that some people do not realize. What I have learned
is how I can better utilize the player’s strengths and weaknesses for
the team’s success.
Personal Goals
When I coach I teach positive attitudes, discipline, and
a hard work ethic both on and off the ice. I create an environment where
young kids can learn every aspect of hockey and improve their skills. I
teach players to have respect for the individual and to achieve personal
goals. Players have to learn to be humble in victory and gracious in
defeat. My motto is HAVE FUN! TRY HARD! LEARN HOCKEY!
Involvement from Parents
What I look for in parents is that they show a positive
attitude and sportsmanship. I want the parents to be just as involved as
me, the coach and players are. The only way that teams can make
improvements is to communicate and work together to make everything we
do a success.
